EPW - "Uhrenfabrik Union, Glashütte in Sachsen" marked dial, Lange quality 2b, marked "Glashütter Uhrenfabrik Union" on mvt, 57mm from center of box hinge, 14K pink gold Louis XV style original HC with gold cuvette, bezel to accept observation crystal beneath cuvette, extended pendant and true box-hinged back, SW-shift-locking-LS, WE-DSD, lever escapement with gold pallet and escape wheel, 16J, gilt mvt, s#55573 with matched case serial, in original box with rating tables on warranty card and ticket, for two different 14-day periods. The box has chambers for spare mainspring and crystal, now both occupied by remnants of one broken spring. Gross weight of assembled watch 78.8 dwt (122.6 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: NR, broken mainspring, wound to the top of its stop-works and running immediately with slight additional pressure, mint mvt condition overall; dial perfect; hands mint; case shows little wear, some MFS, some soft dents or dings to back, sharp dings in front, clear monogram detail; bow tight, crown shows little wear; good glass crystal; box in excellent shape, interior very clean with perfect card and ticket, the exterior rubbed and scuffed.
